About Kennedy
Kennedy Bastow is an Atlanta/NYC based performer. Her journey in the arts began at age 12 when she was cast as Maria Rainer in Singapore American School’s production of The Sound of Music. As someone who never excelled in sports or other extracurriculars (as hard as she may have tried), her sense of belonging and pure passion when performing onstage changed Kennedy’s life forever.

Eager to keep growing artistically, Kennedy auditioned for the Singapore Lyric Opera where she performed in various concerts and La Boheme at the famous Esplanade Theatre. In her teens, she moved to Atlanta, GA where she began performing in musicals at the Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute and various Atlanta theater companies.
Kennedy was accepted and graduated with a BA in Theatre Performance from Marymount Manhattan College, during which time she originated the role of Evelyn in Marymount’s original production of ‘Evelyn: A New Musical’. Throughout her colllege years Kennedy also performed in multiple cabarets/concerts throughout the city at locations such as Don’t Tell Mama and Lincoln Center Theater.

Since graduating, Kennedy travels back and forth between Atlanta and NYC when she isn’t on a performance contract. She has been represented by Central Casting Atlanta for 2 years which allows her to gain television/film experience by performing background/stand in roles. Some notable film/tv projects include: Tell Me Lies (S2), English Teacher (S1), Man In Full (S1), Class of ‘09 (S1), Ghosted (Feature Film) and A Friend of the Family (S1).When not performing, you can find Kennedy petting any cat she can find, spending time with family and friends, songwriting, and watching any episode of reality television she can get her hands on.
